The Sound Control Technologies RC5-HHV is a commercial-grade RemoteCam5 camera extension kit for HuddleCamHD HuddleView and SimplTrack2 cameras. Using SCTLink™ technology, the RC5-HHV carries HDMI video at 4K30 up to 70 meters or 1080p60 up to 100 meters over a single CAT cable, with PTZ control and 12V camera power on the same run. The kit includes RC5-CE and RC5-HE modules with a HuddleCamHD-specific cable set, and no programming is required.

Product Description

The RC5-HHV solves the distance limitation between a HuddleCamHD HuddleView or SimplTrack2 camera and the codec, recorder, or display chain. The RC5-CE camera interface module installs at the camera position and the RC5-HE head-end module installs at the rack; a single installer-supplied CAT cable between them carries HDMI video, control, and 12V power. Because these HuddleCamHD cameras perform auto-framing and presenter tracking on board, full functionality is preserved at any extension distance, and control passes through for preset and PTZ commands. This makes the RC5-HHV well suited to training rooms, lecture halls, and houses of worship where the camera mounts on a wall far from the equipment rack. Which cameras does the RC5-HHV support?

The RC5-HHV is designed and tested for the HuddleCamHD HuddleView and SimplTrack2 cameras. For the HuddleCamHD SimplTrack Lite, use the RC5-HST series instead.
