Product Description

AVer conferencing cameras such as the CAM520 Pro Advanced and the 4K dual-lens CAM570 are common in mid-size and large meeting rooms, where the camera often needs to sit far from the codec or UC compute. The RC5-APA solves the distance problem with a camera-end RC5-CE module and a head-end RC5-HE module connected by one installer-supplied CAT run up to 100 meters (328 ft). The kit ships with AVer-matched HDMI, UTP, and PPC-003 DC power camera cables, head-end HDMI and UTP cables, and a WPS-12 power supply that powers the camera through the link — no outlet needed at the camera position. Support for the AVer MD120UI, MD330U, and MD330UI also makes the RC5-APA suitable for telehealth and medical observation installations using AVer's MD camera line. As an RC5 Gen2 kit, it adds Cisco Control Hub integration, diagnostics, and field-upgradeable firmware, and the head end remains backwards compatible with existing RC5-CE modules.
