The Sound Control Technologies RC4-PSA is a commercial-grade camera extension kit for Cisco PrecisionHD 1080p 12xS2, 12xS1, and 4xS1 cameras paired with the Cisco SX80 and C-Series codecs. Using SCTLink™ technology, the RC4-PSA extends HDMI video, camera control, and 12V DC camera power up to 100 meters over a single CAT cable. The kit includes camera and head-end modules with a Cisco-specific cable set, and no programming is required.

Product Description

The RC4-PSA solves the distance limitation between a Cisco SX80 or C-Series codec and its PrecisionHD 12x-class camera in boardroom and large conference room installations. The RC4-CE camera module installs at the camera position and the RC4-HE head-end module installs at the codec; a single installer-supplied CAT cable between them carries HDMI video, camera control, and 12V DC power up to 100 meters. Control passes transparently, so pan, tilt, zoom, presets, and camera behavior operate exactly as with a direct connection. This lets the integrator place the SX80 codec in a remote equipment rack while positioning the long-zoom PrecisionHD camera at the front of the room. The RC4-PSX supports PrecisionHD 4xS2 and 2.5x cameras with the SX20 codec, and the RC4-PSB supports those same cameras with C-Series codecs. Does the RC4-PSA include a wall mount or rack shelf?
