The Sound Control Technologies RC4-Producer is a commercial-grade camera extension kit for the Poly EagleEye Producer speaker-framing camera system paired with Poly RealPresence Group Series and G7500 codecs. Using SCTLink™ technology, the RC4-Producer extends video, camera control, and 12V DC camera power up to 100 meters over a single CAT cable. The kit includes camera and head-end modules with a Poly-specific cable set, and no programming is required.

Product Description

The RC4-Producer solves the distance limitation between a Poly RealPresence Group Series or G7500 codec and the EagleEye Producer in conference room and boardroom installations. The RC4-CE camera module installs at the camera position and the RC4-HE head-end module installs at the codec; a single installer-supplied CAT cable between them carries video, camera control, and 12V DC power up to 100 meters. Because control passes transparently, the EagleEye Producer's automatic group framing and speaker detection operate normally over the extended link. This lets the integrator rack the codec with the rest of the AV equipment while positioning the camera system at the display.
