The RC4 platform is a commercial-grade camera extension system designed for permanent fixed installation in conference rooms, boardrooms, and commercial meeting spaces. It transmits HDMI video at up to 1080p 60Hz, bidirectional VISCA serial control for full PTZ operation, and 12V DC power — all over a single CAT5e/6 cable — from a codec rack location to the camera deployment point. The camera-end module connects directly to the Poly EagleEye IV using manufacturer-matched cabling, and the head-end module connects at the codec rack.
The RC4-E4P-KS -KS configuration delivers the complete hardware set for a standard Poly RealPresence G7500 installation: the RC4 extension kit for signal extension, the RC-RK2 rack shelf for 1U rack mounting of the head-end unit, and the RCM-EE4 on-wall camera mount designed specifically for the EagleEye IV form factor.
