The Sound Control Technologies RC4-AS6 is a commercial-grade HDMI camera extension kit engineered for the AVer PTC500+ auto-tracking PTZ camera. Using SCTLink™ technology, the RC4-AS6 extends HDMI video, RS-232 Visca PTZ control, and 12V DC camera power up to 100 meters over a single CAT cable. The kit is plug-and-play with no programming required and includes all cables specific to the AVer PTC500+ camera interface, enabling clean single-cable deployment in conference rooms, training rooms, and commercial meeting spaces.
Product Description
The AVer PTC500+ is an auto-tracking presenter camera used in training rooms, lecture halls, and conference rooms. The RC4-AS6 enables installations where the PTC500+ needs to be positioned away from the codec or display—up to 100 meters—without running multiple HDMI and power cables. The RC4-CE camera module mounts at the camera, the RC4-HE head-end module installs at the codec rack or AV equipment location, and a single CAT cable connects the two. HDMI video, RS-232 Visca control, and 12V DC power all travel over that one cable. The WPS-12 power supply provides power at the head end, and the RC4-CE delivers regulated 12V DC to the PTC500+ remotely. The kit includes cables specific to the AVer PTC500+ connector interface. For the AVer CAM520 Pro series, use the RC4-APA; for AVer PTZ series cameras, use the RC4-USM.

The RC4-AS6 is designed specifically for the AVer PTC500+ camera. For AVer CAM520 Pro, CAM550, and CAM570, use the RC4-APA. For AVer PTZ211, PTZ310, PTZ330, and TR series cameras, use the RC4-USM.
Does the RC4-AS6 support the auto-tracking function of the PTC500+?
The RC4-AS6 carries RS-232 Visca control signals transparently. Auto-tracking control signals that travel over RS-232 Visca will pass through the extension. If the PTC500+ auto-tracking relies on a different interface, contact Creation Networks to confirm compatibility before installation.
Is a camera wall mount available for this kit?
Yes. The RC4-AS6-K project pack includes this base kit plus an RCM-UNI on-wall camera mount. The RC4-AS6-KS includes both the wall mount and an RC-RK2 rack shelf.
