The VSA-100 connects to the Q-SYS network over a single Ethernet connection and processes camera analytics without inserting itself into the video signal chain, preserving image quality and latency. Its Speaker Spotlight technology uses the active talker's voice to drive camera framing while voice-activity detection guards against false triggers, and its Presenter Spotlight technology applies computer-vision full-body tracking to follow a moving presenter. A single accelerator supports up to 16 Q-SYS cameras (two channels of Presenter Spotlight or room automation plus 14 channels of Speaker Spotlight), and is designed to work with Q-SYS NC Series network cameras such as the NC-12x80 and NC-20x60. The entire system is designed, configured, and commissioned within VisionSuite Designer, a native tool inside Q-SYS Designer Software, so camera automation is managed in the same environment as the rest of the Q-SYS deployment.
