The QSC RSB-212 is the subwoofer component of the QSC Reference Monitor System — a high-performance, studio-quality loudspeaker system designed for critical mixing, monitoring, and presentation. It is a dual 12-inch low-frequency enclosure with 500 W transducers and 96 dB sensitivity, paired with a matching RSC-112 screen-channel loudspeaker plus factory-specified signal processing and power amplification. The RSB-212 is priced individually and requires NL8 connectors (not supplied by QSC).
Product Description
The RSB-212 features two specially-designed long-throw 12” (305 mm) woofers with 3” (76 mm) voice coils for exceptional extended low-frequency bandwidth, each loaded in its own tuned chamber. Each RSB-212 receives customized signal processing from a matched QSC Q-SYS™ processor core, which provides Intrinsic Correction™ — a set of proprietary DSP tunings implemented as FIR filters for the most accurate acoustical magnitude, frequency, and phase performance possible. The enclosure uses rugged 15-ply Baltic birch plywood construction, with M10 threaded inserts for flexible, safe deployment. The RSB-212 is designed to pair with the matched RSC-112 screen channel, and an optional RBK-12 baffle wing kit is available.
