The SPA Series uses an advanced Class-D design with a universal switchmode power supply, efficient enough to run without active cooling. ENERGY STAR auto-ramp circuitry provides quiet startup from standby and a seamless power-down after 25 minutes of inactivity. The SPA4-100 delivers 100 watts RMS per channel into 4 Ω and 8 Ω; bridging a channel pair yields up to 200 watts into low impedance and up to 175 watts into 70 V or 100 V, with an 80 Hz high-pass filter available in bridged distributed modes. Per-channel controls select 4 Ω/8 Ω or 70 V/100 V operation, and rms and thermal limiting plus over-current and short-circuit protection allow confident deployment. The included mounting kit supports rack mounting alone or paired in 1RU, plus under-table and wall mounting, and an optional Plenum Kit allows plenum installation.
