Product Overview
The QSC Rear Rack Ear Kit (7-inch) is a rear-support accessory for QSC 2RU and 3RU power amplifiers. It includes two 7-inch L-brackets and mounting hardware that secure the back of a rack-mounted amplifier to the rear rails, preventing chassis sag and protecting the amplifier and rack during transport. This is the standard rear-support solution for installers building amplifier racks for touring or fixed installation.
Product Description
Heavy amplifiers supported only at the front rack ears can flex or stress the faceplate, especially in mobile racks. This kit's two 7-inch L-brackets bridge the amplifier to the rear rack rails for added mechanical support, suiting deeper 2RU and 3RU QSC amplifiers. All required mounting hardware is included. For shallower amplifiers, the 3-inch version of the kit provides the same rear support over a shorter span.
