Product Overview
The QSC Rear Rack Ear Kit (3-inch) is a rear-support accessory for QSC 2RU and 3RU power amplifiers. It includes two 3-inch L-brackets and mounting hardware that secure the rear of a rack-mounted amplifier to the rear rails, preventing chassis sag and protecting both amplifier and rack during transport. It is the shorter-span counterpart to the 7-inch kit and suits shallower amplifier installations.
Product Description
Front-only rack mounting can place stress on an amplifier faceplate in mobile or vibration-prone racks. This kit's two 3-inch L-brackets tie the amplifier to the rear rack rails for added mechanical support across a shorter span, suiting shallower 2RU and 3RU QSC amplifiers. All required mounting hardware is included. For deeper amplifiers, choose the 7-inch version of the kit.
