Many commercial buildings require equipment mounted above ceilings or in return-air plenums to meet plenum fire and smoke ratings; this kit provides the enclosure compliance needed to deploy an SPA amplifier in those locations safely and to code.
Product Description
Installing audio amplifiers in plenum spaces lets integrators keep equipment out of occupied areas and shorten speaker cable runs, but local codes require plenum-rated enclosures. The QSC Plenum Kit carries UL approval for use with SPA Series amplifiers, making it the correct, code-compliant way to mount an SPA amplifier in a plenum. It pairs with QSC's SPA Series compact amplifiers used for distributed background music and paging.
