Product Overview
The QSC PL-SUB12-BK is a 12-inch passive installation subwoofer designed for installations where a compact enclosure footprint is essential without sacrificing meaningful low-frequency output. With 122 dB continuous SPL, a frequency response reaching 41 Hz (–6 dB), and an IP54-rated black enclosure, the PL-SUB12 is a capable subwoofer solution for smaller venues and distributed bass systems.
Product Description
The PL-SUB12 houses a 12-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil in a compact bass-reflex cabinet constructed from exterior-grade plywood with polyurea paint. The 550 W continuous / 1100 W rated power handling and 92 dB sensitivity make it well suited for mid-sized spaces where a full-sized 15-inch or 18-inch subwoofer would be acoustically or physically inappropriate. The IP65-rated input cup provides dual Speakon NL4 connectors plus a 4-pole Euroblock, and four M10 rigging points on both the bottom and sides provide flexible installation and integration options. The PL-SUB12 operates in omnidirectional mode and pairs naturally with PL-CA coaxial or PL-DC directivity-control loudspeakers for complete installed system solutions managed through Q-SYS.
