Product Overview
The QSC PL-LA8-AF-WH is the white array frame designed for the PL-LA8 line array loudspeaker. Supporting flown arrays of up to 14 PL-LA8 elements, this rigging frame provides 8 splay angle settings and 11 rigging pick points for precision coverage shaping in mid-size to large venue permanent installations — finished in white for all-white array configurations.
Product Description
Constructed from zinc-plated, powder-coated steel, the PL-LA8-AF-WH provides the structural backbone for flying PL-LA8 line array systems. The frame supports up to 14 PL-LA8 elements with a working load limit of 217.7 kg (480 lbs) at a 7:1 factor of safety (maximum total splay of 62.5°). Ground stacking of up to 4 PL-LA8 elements is also supported. Eight splay angle settings from 0.5° to 12° allow flexible array curvature, and 11 rigging pick points (use point #6 with the PL-LA8-PB pullback bar, sold separately) provide versatile rigging configurations. The frame downtilt range is 0° to 45°, with uptilt achievable by reversing the frame. At 30 lbs, the PL-LA8-AF is slightly lighter than the PL-LA12-AF. The white finish coordinates with white-finished PL-LA8 elements.
