The PL-CA15 enclosure is constructed from 15 mm Baltic exterior plywood with a durable polyurea paint finish and an IP54 environmental rating, making it suitable for challenging installation environments. The coaxial driver arrangement places the HF compression driver at the acoustical center of the 15-inch LF cone, achieving a unified wavefront that eliminates the time alignment and comb filtering artifacts associated with traditional point-source two-way designs. The system operates passively with an 8-ohm nominal impedance, or in bi-amp mode using separate LF and HF amplifier channels for increased headroom and control. The IP65-rated input cup accepts dual Speakon NL4 connectors and a 4-pole Euroblock for flexible wiring. Extensive rigging provisions — including top/bottom M6 pattern points, three M10 attachment points, M8 yoke attachment, two M10 side points, and two M10 rear pullback anchors — support a wide range of flown and ground-stacked configurations.
