The QSC CODP4 is a Q-SYS Type-II I/O card providing four DataPort analog output channels for the Core 510i processor. DataPort is QSC's high-density analog connection format used with DataPort-equipped amplifiers, including the DCA cinema series and ISA commercial amplifiers. The CODP4 lets the Core 510i drive these amplifiers directly over a single HD15 DataPort cable per amplifier, reducing the wiring complexity of large commercial and cinema audio installations.
Product Description
Where standard line outputs require individual XLR runs to each amplifier channel, a DataPort connection carries multiple channels plus monitoring over one cable. The CODP4 brings that capability to the Core 510i, ideal for facilities that already use QSC DataPort amplifiers such as the DCA1644 and DCA1824. It installs in any Type-II slot and combines with input and digital cards in the same chassis.
