Product Overview
The QSC DDI-11 is a DataPort interface accessory card that converts the HD15 DataPort connector on QSC DataPort amplifiers to a terminal-block-style connection. It breaks out the individual DataPort pins, providing convenient access to the amplifier’s 15 VDC output and standby control connectivity. The DDI-11 is functionally the same as the DDI-3, except its DataPort connector is right-angle mounted for installations where a low-profile cable exit is preferred.
Product Description
The DDI-11 DataPort breakout interface board lets integrators access individual pins of the DataPort connection at a terminal block, simplifying field wiring to QSC DataPort amplifiers. It is commonly used to connect a contact closure or relay to the amplifier’s standby pin, enabling external power-management and control logic. The right-angle DataPort connector keeps the cable exit flush against the chassis, which is useful in tight rack and enclosure installations. Pair the DDI-11 with QSC DataPort cables and a DataPort amplifier such as the QSC DCA1622 for control and monitoring within Q-SYS and QSControl systems.
