QSC CR1 Kit – Q-SYS I/O Card Riser
Product Overview
The QSC CR1 Kit is a card riser accessory for QSC Q-SYS Core I/O card frames. It allows an I/O card to be stacked above an unused card slot while also covering that slot from the rear of the chassis. The CR1 Kit is intended for specialized, top-loaded I/O card configurations and is recommended only in exceptional installation circumstances.
Product Description
In most Q-SYS Core installations, I/O cards seat directly in their slots and unused slots are blanked with a rear plate. The CR1 Kit addresses uncommon cases where a card must be raised, or top-loaded, above an empty slot — supporting the card in the riser position while simultaneously covering the open slot at the rear. Because it serves a niche need, QSC recommends the CR1 Kit only when a standard configuration cannot be used.
