The AD-S12 pairs a 12-inch weather-treated paper-cone woofer on a 2.5-inch voice coil with a 1-inch-exit, 1.4-inch compression driver matched for full-range reproduction. QSC Directivity Matched Transition (DMT) aligns the woofer and high-frequency waveguide patterns at the crossover for a coherent 75-degree axisymmetric coverage pattern and improved off-axis response. The rugged painted-ABS enclosure, sealed input-panel cover, and powder-coated aluminum grille exceed IEC60529 IP-54 dust and splash resistance, and the speaker is qualified for outdoor use through salt-fog, humidity, and temperature testing. The award-winning X-Mount system is included for horizontal, vertical, wall, or ceiling deployment without slippage, and M10 fittings accept the optional YMS12 yoke mount or shoulder eyebolt kit. Advanced Intrinsic Correction voicing filter sets are available through Q-SYS processing or CXD amplifier platforms for QSC-approved tuning.
