The QSC AD-S162T is a 16-driver column surface-mount loudspeaker delivering high-output, long-throw, full-range coverage for large, acoustically challenging commercial spaces. Product Description

The AD-S162T houses sixteen weather-treated 2.75-inch paper-cone transducers, covering 90 Hz to 17 kHz. In narrow mode it provides 89 dB sensitivity, a rated 160° horizontal by 15° vertical pattern, and a 112 dB continuous / 118 dB peak SPL; a wide-beam contour broadens vertical coverage for shorter rooms. Recommended amplifier power is 250W.

A low-saturation 70/100V transformer with selectable taps and an 8-ohm bypass supports distributed or low-impedance systems through a screw-down Euroblock connector with loop-through wiring under a sealable input weather cup. A close-to-wall pan/tilt bracket and safety eyebolt are included.

Constructed of rugged, paintable powder-coated aluminum with weather-treated cones, the AD-S162T carries an IP-54 rating with UV inhibitors on white models. Complete EASE, CLF, CAD, and BIM data supports system modeling. For shorter throw, the QSC AD-S802T offers the same column platform in an eight-driver format.
