Product Description

The AD-S162T houses sixteen weather-treated 2.75-inch paper-cone transducers in a tall aluminum column. Its PTT network passively curves the array to greatly reduce side lobes, while a rear rotary control selects Wide or Narrow vertical coverage: rated 160° horizontal by 15° (Narrow) or 30° (Wide) vertical, across a 90 Hz to 17 kHz effective frequency range. Rated sensitivity is 89 dB (Narrow) / 88 dB (Wide) with a peak SPL of 118 dB (Narrow).

A low-loss, low-saturation transformer maintains accurate response on distributed lines with selectable 70V/100V taps plus an 8-ohm bypass, set behind the sealed input cover. A locking 4-pole Euroblock with parallel output and a wire-sealing gland nut secures cabling, and the supplied quick-hang pan/tilt bracket reduces live-load time during high-reach installation, with a removable tilt section for close-to-wall placement and a zero-pan locking screw for wind-load conditions.
