The PTZOptics Large PTZ Camera Ceiling Mount (PT-CM-3-WH) is designed for larger-base PTZ cameras including the PTZOptics Move 4K 30X and Link 4K 30X, which require a wider camera tray than the standard PT-CM-1 ceiling mount can accommodate. This white steel ceiling mount installs to drop/T-bar ceilings, drywall, and wood ceilings using included hardware, and is built for permanent PTZ camera ceiling mount installations in conference rooms, lecture halls, auditoriums, and houses of worship. A 10-year limited warranty is included.

Product Description

The PT-CM-3-WH fills the same role as the PT-CM-1 but is sized for PTZ cameras with larger bases. PTZOptics specifies this mount for the Move 4K 30X and Link 4K 30X models, and it is also compatible with a range of larger-body third-party PTZ cameras from Sony, Canon, BirdDog, Marshall, Panasonic, and others. The correct mount selection matters for large-base cameras — using an undersized tray will not properly support the camera or allow the 1/4-20 screw to engage correctly.

Like the PT-CM-1, the PT-CM-3-WH positions PTZ cameras in an inverted orientation on the ceiling, which PTZOptics cameras support natively through their image flip setting in the camera menu or OSD. The mount includes cable access provisions so signal and power cables can route cleanly to the camera body without exposed surface runs. All hardware for the three supported ceiling types is included in the box, covering the most common installation scenarios encountered in commercial AV projects.

CAD line drawings are published by PTZOptics for the PT-CM-3 series, supporting submittal documentation for specifying engineers and AV designers. The white finish is appropriate for standard drop ceiling grid and white camera body finishes found in most commercial environments. For installations where a black finish is needed, PTZOptics offers a black variant under the PT-CM-3-BK SKU.
