Constructed with Belden 1695A premium coaxial cable, it supports 3G-SDI signal transmission up to the 3 Gb/s standard and meets plenum (CMP) rating requirements for in-wall and above-ceiling routing in commercial buildings. The cable terminates in BNC connectors on both ends and is finished in white for clean installation aesthetics.

In commercial AV installations, the cable run between a wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted PTZ camera and the production rack or switcher frequently passes through plenum air-handling spaces. The HDSDI-25 satisfies the CMP plenum rating requirement for these environments, allowing integrators to route SDI video without the separate conduit required for non-plenum cable in many jurisdictions and building codes.
The Belden 1695A construction is a widely specified coaxial cable for 3G-SDI broadcast applications, providing consistent impedance and low attenuation at HD-SDI and 3G-SDI frequencies.
