This service remotely migrates one Poly infrastructure application from an existing server to a new server during normal business hours. A Poly engineer performs the migration without an onsite visit, minimizing hardware-refresh disruption. It is intended for IT teams replacing or consolidating conferencing infrastructure servers.

Product Description

Server refreshes, virtualization projects, and data-center moves all require migrating Poly infrastructure applications to new hardware without losing configuration. This remote migration service moves one Poly infrastructure application from its existing server to a new server, delivered remotely by a Poly engineer during normal business hours. The engagement covers application transfer, configuration validation, and confirmation that the application is operational on the new server. It is built for IT and AV teams performing hardware refreshes, virtualization, or data-center consolidation of Poly conferencing infrastructure. Remote delivery avoids travel costs and shortens the change window compared with an onsite visit. Software upgrades are not included and must be purchased separately if the migration also requires a version change.
