The Sonance PPX-6R is a 6-inch XPC-style grille adapter for the PowerPipe X series, letting integrators finish a PPX port opening with a 6-inch round or square XPC in-ceiling grille. It is intended for PowerPipe X installations where matching a 6-inch ceiling speaker grille aperture is preferred. This keeps the visible ceiling layout consistent across speakers and bass porting.
Product Description
Like the smaller PPX-4R, the PPX-6R is part of the Sonance PowerPipe X grille adapter line, adapting a PPX subwoofer port to accept a standard 6-inch round or square XPC-style grille. It requires an 8.26772-inch (210mm) cut-out and ships in a textured black finish to stay concealed above the ceiling line. By matching the 6-inch XPC aperture used by many Sonance in-ceiling speakers, integrators can align bass porting with lighting and speaker layouts for a balanced overall ceiling design.
