The Sonance PPX-4R is a 4-inch XPC-style grille adapter for the PowerPipe X8 subwoofer, letting integrators finish a PPX8 port opening with a 4-inch round or square XPC in-ceiling grille. It is intended for compact installations using the PPX8 model specifically. Matching the grille aperture to nearby ceiling speakers keeps the finished ceiling visually consistent.
Product Description
The PPX-4R connector adapts a PowerPipe X8 port to accept a standard 4-inch round or square XPC-style grille, one of several grille adapters in the Sonance PowerPipe X accessory line. It requires a 5.74803-inch (146mm) cut-out and is finished in textured black to remain unobtrusive above the ceiling line. Because it matches the aperture size of nearby 4-inch XPC ceiling speakers, integrators can align lighting, speaker grilles, and bass porting for a cohesive ceiling layout. This adapter is compatible specifically with the PPX8 model and is not intended for the larger PPX10, PPX12, or PPX15 subwoofers.
