Each of the 8 channels on the PowerZone Connect 4008 can deliver up to 500W at 2 or 4 ohms in low-impedance mode, or up to 1000W at 70V/100V in high-impedance mode, letting contractors match output to the speaker load in each zone without swapping amplifiers. This Sonance PowerZone amplifier includes full-matrix DSP configured through the built-in PowerZone Control web application, so system designers can route inputs, apply EQ, and set output levels per zone from a browser rather than a proprietary programming tool. S/PDIF digital input and output support daisy-chaining or passthrough to additional amplifiers, and configurable GPIO enables integration with wall controllers or building automation. The Pascal UMAC Class-D amplification technology keeps the unit ErP and ENERGY STAR compliant while maintaining consistent output across all 8 channels.
