The EW-DP ENG Set is built on Sennheiser’s EW-DP (Evolution Wireless Digital Portable) platform, delivering broadcast-quality UHF digital audio with a 134 dB dynamic range and the SePAC codec. No input gain adjustment is required on the bodypack transmitter — the 134 dB range handles everything from quiet dialogue to high-SPL sources without clipping. The EW-DP EK receiver mounts magnetically to the included cheese plate via cold shoe or mounting bolts, attaching to a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or field recorder with 3.5 mm or XLR output cables (both included). The EW-D SKP plug-on transmitter adds phantom power (+48V) for wired XLR microphones, and features a built-in recorder for backup audio.
