The Sound Control Technologies RC-RKM0-7500 is a rack mount kit that secures a Poly G7500 video conferencing codec to the SCT RC-RKM universal rack shelf. The G7500 ships without rack mounting hardware; this retaining plate fixes the codec to the shelf so it installs cleanly in a standard 19-inch equipment rack alongside SCT head-end modules. It is the Poly-specific codec mounting option for RC-RKM shelf installations.
Product Description
SCT's RC-RKM shelf platform uses model-matched retaining plates to hold each supported codec firmly in place. The RC-RKM0-7500 plate is shaped for the Poly G7500 chassis, clamping the codec to the dual-RU shelf while keeping its rear panel accessible for HDMI, network, audio, and power connections.
The plate installs mechanically on the RC-RKM shelf following the SCT G7500 assembly drawing, requiring no modification to the codec. Conference rooms standardizing on Cisco Codec Plus hardware use the companion RC-RKM0-PLUS plate on the same shelf platform. Construction is commercial-grade steel, consistent with the SCT purpose-built rack shelf family.
