It is the plate option AV integrators specify when the room design calls for a ceiling-mounted EagleEye IV instead of a wall or credenza placement.
Product Description
The RC-CEIL-P001-2 matches the base footprint and mounting points of the Poly EagleEye IV camera, holding the camera securely in a ceiling-mounted orientation. Ceiling mounting keeps the camera out of reach, clears wall space for displays, and is common in training rooms, courtrooms, and multi-purpose rooms where wall placement is impractical. The plate is used as the camera interface for SCT ceiling mount installations and pairs with SCT RemoteCam camera extension kits when the camera is located far from the Poly codec. Two sibling plates cover other cameras: the RC-CEIL-P001-1 for Cisco PrecisionHD 12x/4x and the RC-CEIL-P001-3 universal plate.
