HP part number 848Z8AA#AC3 — formerly Poly 2200-49700-019 — is the Microsoft Teams firmware build of the CCX 400 shipped PoE-only. Two things separate it from its siblings in the CCX 400 family: the firmware, which determines whether the phone signs into Microsoft Teams or registers against an Open SIP call server, and the power configuration, which determines whether an adapter is in the carton. This SKU is Teams firmware with no adapter, so every position it lands in needs a live 802.3af switch port or a midspan injector. Plan the PoE budget on each access switch against 13 W per phone before committing a floor plan, and order the Poly 5V/3A power supply for the CCX 400 separately for any position that has data but no PoE.

The two-port gigabit Ethernet switch passes 10/100/1000Base-TX through to a desktop PC, so an existing single drop per workstation stays intact and no additional cabling is pulled.
