The Planar® Mosaic™ 3.9 is an indoor architectural LED display built for creative flexibility, with a 3.91mm pixel pitch. Mosaic ships in four cabinet formats — 500×250, 500×500, 750×250, and 1000×250mm — that combine as building blocks for custom shapes, sizes, and layouts, including designs that incorporate negative space. Standard-build cabinets (998-5033-00, 998-5034-00, 998-5035-00, 998-5036-00) cover typical indoor brightness; High Bright cabinets (998-4924-00, 998-4925-00, 998-4927-00) reach up to 3,000 nits.

Product Description

Planar built Mosaic to hold consistent visual performance regardless of whether a cabinet is oriented vertically or horizontally, which matters once a layout stops being a simple grid. The four cabinet sizes — 500×250mm (2×1 modules), 500×500mm (2×2 modules), 750×250mm (3×1 modules), and 1000×250mm (4×1 modules) — all use the same 250×250mm module, so mixed layouts stay consistent in brightness, color, and viewing angle across the array. Cabinet weight scales with size, from 2.65kg (5.84lbs) on the 500×250 up to 5.25kg (11.57lbs) on the 500×500 and 1000×250, which keeps most configurations within reach of a two-person install crew. Every cabinet is front-serviceable with a power-efficient design (40W per module, 100-240V AC input) for easier long-term maintenance without pulling the array off the wall. The ColorLight-compatible signal path runs at a 3,840Hz LED refresh standard, stepping up to 7,680Hz on High Bright cabinets, which keeps content clean on camera for broadcast and video-capture use. Its wider 3.91mm pitch is the most economical per square foot in the Mosaic line, well suited to longer viewing distances. Mosaic's building-block approach makes it a common choice for lobbies, feature walls, and negative-space layouts where a conventional rectangular video wall wouldn't fit the architecture.
