The LX55U-L-ERO builds on the same Clarity Matrix G3 foundation as the LX55X-L but adds Planar's proprietary ERO glass technology. ERO (Extended Ruggedness and Optics) uses optical bonding to fuse a hardened glass panel directly to the LCD surface, eliminating the air gap that causes reflections, parallax distortion, and condensation buildup in standard display glass configurations.
