With a virtually frameless glass design, the Planar® LookThru® LO552-S OLED Display is a 55-inch transparent display with 38 percent light transmissivity that showcases dynamic information on a transparent surface glass eliminating the need for a back light or enclosure and creating truly see-through installations. To help display the glass, the electronics box on the Planar LookThru LO552 is set at a 90-degree angle. This display can be mounted in both portrait and landscape modes, can be table-mounted, ceiling-mounted or tiled to create large, eye-catching video wall arrays. Vibrant colors at 120 percent National Television System Committee (NTSC) performance plus wide viewing angles with no off-axis contrast or brightness limitations lends to improved perceived contrast when compared to traditional large form cover glass, making the display more readable and impactful to the user - even in bright public venues. The Planar LookThru LO552-S also features Planar® ERO-OLED™ (Extended Ruggedness and Optics™-Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology featuring Corning® Gorilla® Glass for enhanced durability and optics.
