The Peerless-AV CMJ453 is a variable-position suspended ceiling kit designed to install a Jumbo Mount into a standard 2×2 ft. drop ceiling grid, securing the assembly to the structural ceiling above via five tie wires.
Product Description
The CMJ453 provides a code-compliant path for mounting Jumbo Mounts in suspended ceiling environments where direct structural attachment would otherwise be impractical. By replacing a single 2×2 ft. ceiling tile, the kit positions the mount flush within the grid while tie wires carry the structural load directly to the building's ceiling deck above.
The kit ships with all necessary tie wire supports, a flush mount tube, and two knockout panels sized for standard outlet boxes. The white finish integrates cleanly into commercial tile ceilings, making it well suited for conference rooms, classrooms, lobbies, and other finished interior spaces where a neat overhead installation is required.
Installation requires no special tools beyond standard hardware and the included hardware pack. The NPT-threaded fitting on the flush mount tube accepts Peerless-AV extension columns and compatible Jumbo Mount heads, giving installers flexibility in final display height and orientation.
