Product Description
The ACC557 bridges the gap between standard Peerless-AV Jumbo and Jumbo 2000 ceiling mount hardware and the structural truss systems found in arenas, auditoriums, houses of worship, convention centers, and large-format commercial venues. By clamping to the truss member directly, the adapter eliminates the need for a poured or drop ceiling, making overhead display and projector installation viable in open-structure environments.
The adapter accommodates four truss profiles—square, round, rectangular, and I-beam—and accepts trusses up to 3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter or flange width. This versatility allows the same adapter to be specified across different venue types without requiring separate SKUs for different truss shapes. The ACC557 can be used with or without an extension column, providing flexibility in achieving the correct projection height or display position relative to the truss attachment point.
