The Peerless-AV PRGS-455 is a complete projector mounting kit in white, designed to mount projectors weighing up to 50 lb into standard 2 x 2-foot suspended ceiling grid systems with precise tilt and roll alignment adjustment.
Product Description
The PRGS-455 is engineered for classrooms, conference rooms, and training facilities where the projector must be installed into a 2 x 2 suspended ceiling grid. The ceiling plate seats directly within the grid system, and two adjustment knobs independently control tilt and roll so the projected image can be dialed in without repositioning the mount itself. A 360° swivel feature accommodates precise beam orientation during initial setup.
The kit includes the Spider Universal Adapter Plate, which extends up to 17.6" to fit the mounting hole patterns of most projector models without requiring separate adaptor purchases. Knockout panels in the ceiling plate allow an optional electrical outlet to be installed for a clean, code-compliant power connection inside the ceiling grid. A quick-release thumbscrew allows the projector body to slide off the mount for lamp replacement or service without disturbing the ceiling plate alignment. The complete hardware kit includes turn buckles, mounting fasteners, and a tie wire for a standard 3-foot drop. Security hardware is also included.
