The Peerless-AV DCT600 is a heavy-duty I-beam ceiling plate with an integrated stress decoupler, supporting extended load capacities for multi-display systems and larger displays on I-beams 15 to 19.5 inches wide and 1.5 to 2 inches thick.
Product Description
The DCT600 is the wider-beam counterpart to Peerless-AV’s I-beam ceiling plate family, engineered for larger structural steel sections commonly found in convention centers, sports arenas, warehouses, and industrial facilities. Where narrower I-beams are handled by other DCT models, the DCT600 targets 15 to 19.5-inch wide beams with a 1.5 to 2-inch flange thickness.
The plate includes an integral high-density rubber decoupler assembly that isolates the mounting system from structural vibrations. This is particularly important in occupied facilities where HVAC systems, foot traffic, or machinery introduce ongoing vibration into the building structure. The decoupler prevents that energy from transferring into the display system, protecting both the hardware and the viewing experience.
The DCT600 features a Peerless-AV ADD extension column fitting, connecting directly to the ADD adjustable extension column family for multi-display system height configuration. Note that the DCT600 is not compatible with standard 1-1/2"-11.5 NPT extension columns or pipes; only ADD extension columns should be used.
