Product Description

The IBA2-W Recessed Cable and Storage Management Box resolves the cable management challenge that arises when a flat panel display or AV component is wall-mounted in a finished space. By recessing into the drywall cavity between standard 16" on-center wood studs, it creates usable storage space directly behind the display, allowing low-voltage cables, signal converters, and small media players to be kept out of sight without surface-mounted cable covers or conduit runs.

The usable interior space measures 13.10 x 9.60 x 3.76" (33.3 x 24.4 x 9.6 cm), accommodating a meaningful variety of AV accessories and cable bundles. A receptacle knockout is included for adding an optional duplex power module (not included), which allows a power outlet to be positioned directly behind the display within the same recessed footprint. When paired with a Peerless-AV wall mount, the IBA2-W creates a complete in-wall system that presents a clean, finished face to the room.
