The Peerless-AV IB14X14C-W is a white cover panel that closes and secures recessed in-wall AV box installations, providing a finished appearance and protected cable entry for completed low-voltage rough-in deployments.
Product Description
Recessed in-wall AV boxes are an effective way to conceal cabling and AV equipment behind the wall, but they require a purpose-designed cover to close the installation neatly and protect the contents. The IB14X14C-W is that cover for the Peerless-AV IB14X14(-AC)-W and IB14X9(-AC)-W in-wall box models, bolting securely to the front of the box to close the installation.
The cover includes four knock-outs that can be opened for cable entry and exit or used as ventilation points, giving installers flexibility in how cables are routed in the finished installation. Two additional openings with removable plastic caps are provided for connecting external WiFi antennas, allowing wireless connectivity equipment inside the box to maintain optimal signal strength without requiring the cover to be removed.
The IB14X14C-W is finished in white to match the color of the Peerless-AV in-wall box models it covers, producing a cohesive, professional appearance in the finished wall. It is TAA compliant, environmentally friendly, and backed by Peerless-AV's 5-year limited warranty.
