Suspended ceiling projector and display installations frequently require an extension column that runs from the ceiling structure down to the mount. Where that column penetrates the ceiling tile, an unfinished hole is left visible from below. The ACC640-W escutcheon ring is engineered to address that gap with a simple, tool-friendly solution: the hinged ring opens, wraps around the existing column, and snaps closed to cover the hole without requiring the column to be disassembled or the ceiling tile to be removed again.

At 3.6 inches in diameter, the ring covers standard cutout sizes while maintaining a low-profile appearance. The white finish suits environments with light-colored ceilings such as offices, classrooms, and conference rooms. Note that this ring is not required when the installation uses a Peerless-AV CMJ450 or CMJ453 Suspended Ceiling Plate, as those plates cover the opening by design.
