The Peerless-AV ACC640 is a chrome-finish hinged escutcheon ring that covers the ceiling tile opening around a 1-1/2-inch schedule 40 extension column, providing a polished, professional finish for suspended ceiling projector and display mount installations.
Product Description
When a Peerless-AV extension column runs from the structural ceiling through a suspended ceiling tile to support a projector or display mount, it leaves a visible hole in the tile below. The ACC640 escutcheon ring wraps around the existing column without requiring disassembly — the hinged construction opens wide enough to install around the column and then snaps into position to cover the opening cleanly.
The chrome color option makes the ACC640 a natural fit for installations in spaces with metal-framed ceilings, exposed ductwork aesthetics, or where a chrome or silver finish aligns with existing hardware and fixtures. At approximately 0.20 lb, the ring adds virtually no load to the column or ceiling structure and is handled easily during installation at height.
The ACC640 carries RoHS environmental certification and is manufactured in the United States. It is backed by a 5-year limited warranty and is compatible with the same broad range of Peerless-AV suspended ceiling mount configurations as the white ACC640-W variant. Note that this ring is not needed when the installation uses a Peerless-AV CMJ453 Suspended Ceiling Plate.
