The Peerless-AV WSP700 is a universal double metal stud wall plate that expands mounting flexibility for the 730 and 740 series of Peerless-AV single stud pivot and articulating arms, eliminating dependence on standard stud spacing.
Product Description
The WSP700 wall plate addresses one of the most common challenges in commercial AV installation: the restriction of display positioning to wherever the wall studs happen to be. By spanning multiple studs, the WSP700 allows the installer to position the display practically anywhere along the width of the wall without being constrained by stud spacing gaps.
In addition to standard wood stud applications, the WSP700 is engineered for use with metal stud wall construction — a common structural choice in commercial buildings, offices, and educational facilities. The plate bridges across two studs, distributing load and providing a stable, rigid attachment surface for the mount arm above.
The WSP700 features a sleeker, lower-profile design than earlier Peerless-AV wall plate models, reducing visual bulk on the wall. Its open construction also improves access to the wall cavity for cable routing, keeping wiring organized and out of sight. The plate supports a maximum load capacity of 80 lb and is compatible with the SA730P, SA740P, SP730P, SP740P, PA730, PA740, PP730, and PP740 mount arms. RoHS certified and backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
