The Peerless-AV ACC630 is a dedicated wall adaptor box with adjustable depth from 3.25" to 5.50", designed to provide the throw distance clearance required by short throw projector arms when a whiteboard is mounted over an existing chalkboard or similar surface obstruction.
Product Description
When an interactive whiteboard is installed over a chalkboard, the combined depth of both surfaces pushes the projection plane away from the wall. Short throw projector arms must compensate for this added depth to maintain the correct throw distance and image alignment. The ACC630 resolves this by creating an adjustable wall standoff that positions the mount arm further from the finished wall surface, restoring proper geometry for the projected image.
The box is scratch-resistant and constructed from steel, providing the structural rigidity needed to support the arm and projector assembly over years of daily use. Depth adjustment from 3.25" to 5.50" covers the range of typical chalkboard-over-whiteboard installation scenarios. The ACC630 is compatible with SMART Arm 600i, SMART UX60, and Hitachi A100WALLARM2 short throw projector arms.
With a maximum load capacity of 50 lb and RoHS certification, the ACC630 meets the structural and environmental requirements common in K-12 and higher education projects. The 5-year limited warranty provides long-term confidence in installations where access for replacement is difficult.
