The Peerless-AV CMJ480 is a steel ceiling plate mount that attaches to wood joist ceilings at 20-inch centers or to structural concrete ceilings, providing a secure, concealed mounting base for Peerless-AV Jumbo 2000 Series flat panel and projector ceiling mounts.
Product Description
The CMJ480 serves as the ceiling attachment point for Peerless-AV Jumbo 2000 Series ceiling mounts in installations where the joist spacing is 20 inches on center or where the ceiling substrate is structural concrete. For wood joist ceilings, the plate attaches using the four washer-head wood screws included in the package. For concrete ceilings, the ACC244 concrete anchor accessory kit is required (sold separately).
The plate features a 1-1/2"–11.5 NPT fitting that accepts standard Peerless-AV extension columns, enabling the integrator to set the appropriate drop length between the ceiling plate and the mount or display below. All mounting hardware is neatly concealed once installation is complete, presenting a finished, professional appearance from the floor level.
The CMJ480 is constructed from steel and is manufactured in the United States. It is compatible with a broad range of Peerless-AV Jumbo 2000 Series ceiling mounts and extension accessories.
