The Peerless-AV CMJ490 is a steel ceiling plate mount designed for 24-inch wood joist centers, providing a secure and aesthetically finished attachment point for flat panel and projector ceiling mounts.
Product Description
The CMJ490 Ceiling Plate is built for professional AV installations where a reliable overhead attachment point is required. It attaches to finished wood joist ceilings using the four included washer head wood screws, or to structural concrete ceilings using the separately available concrete anchor accessory kit ACC244. This dual-mounting flexibility makes the CMJ490 suitable for a wide range of commercial and institutional environments.
Designed with aesthetics in mind, all mounting hardware is neatly concealed once installation is complete, resulting in a clean and finished appearance. The 1-1/2"-11.5 NPT fitting accepts standard extension columns, allowing integrators to set the appropriate drop for their specific ceiling height and display positioning requirements.
The CMJ490 is compatible with Peerless-AV Jumbo 2000 series mounts including JMC 2630, 2640, and 2650 models, as well as the corresponding S, D, and DS variants. Manufactured in the United States, this ceiling plate brings structural confidence to any overhead display or projector installation.
