The Peerless-AV CMJ470 is a steel ceiling plate that mounts to wood joist ceilings at 16-inch on-center spacing or to structural concrete ceilings, providing a secure and concealed attachment base for Peerless-AV Jumbo 2000 Series flat panel and projector ceiling mounts with up to 300 lb load capacity.
Product Description
The CMJ470 provides the ceiling attachment point for Peerless-AV Jumbo 2000 Series ceiling mounts in standard residential and commercial construction where joists are spaced at 16 inches on center, which is the most common framing dimension in North American construction. The plate attaches to wood joists using four included washer-head wood screws, and it is also suitable for concrete ceiling installation using the ACC244 concrete anchor kit (sold separately).
A 1-1/2"–11.5 NPT threaded fitting at the center of the plate accepts Peerless-AV extension columns, allowing the drop length between ceiling and mount to be set at the correct viewing or projection height. The plate measures 18 inches in length and 3.5 inches in width, spanning across the joist cavity for a solid structural attachment.
The CMJ470 is RoHS certified, manufactured in the United States, and backed by a 5-year limited warranty. All mounting hardware is concealed in the completed installation, providing a clean finished ceiling appearance.
