The Peerless-AV ACC556 is a white cathedral ceiling adapter that attaches to finished wood joist ceilings or structural concrete ceilings and supports up to 300 lb, providing a compatible mounting interface for Peerless-AV Jumbo Mount projector mounts (JM630 through JM675).
Product Description
Cathedral and vaulted ceilings present a specific challenge in AV installations: standard ceiling plates are designed for flat, horizontal surfaces, and applying them to an angled ceiling introduces alignment and structural concerns. The ACC556 is engineered to address this by providing an adapter that attaches directly to the angled surface and provides a level interface for the projector mount below.
For finished ceilings over wood joists, the ACC556 includes two washer head wood screws for direct attachment through drywall into the joists. For structural concrete ceilings, the adapter is compatible with the ACC200 concrete anchor accessory kit, which is sold separately. The 300 lb load capacity covers the full Peerless-AV Jumbo Mount series from the JM630 through the JM675, making the ACC556 the appropriate ceiling interface for heavy projector installations in auditoriums, sanctuaries, and large conference facilities.
The white finish is standard for installations where the ceiling is white and hardware visibility is a concern.
