The Peerless-AV ACC170 is a rotational mount interface (RMI) adapter plate required for use with the RMI1 interface when installed on the SR560 cart or SS550P stand, enabling full rotational display functionality on those platforms.
Product Description
The RMI1 rotational mount interface from Peerless-AV allows a display to rotate between landscape and portrait orientations without being unmounted and remounted. However, the RMI1 requires a specific mechanical interface to attach properly to the SR560 cart and SS550P stand. The ACC170 provides exactly that interface — it is the required adapter plate that makes the RMI1 and these two platforms physically and mechanically compatible.
Without the ACC170 in place, the RMI1 cannot be used with the SR560 or SS550P. This makes the ACC170 a mandatory accessory for any deployment that specifies portrait-to-landscape rotation on those platforms. The adapter plate is straightforward to install and does not require specialized tools beyond what is used in a standard Peerless-AV mount installation.
