The ACC-CCPHD is a heavy duty angled ceiling adaptor plate from Peerless-AV that enables projectors and flat panel displays to be mounted securely from cathedral or sloped ceilings using standard 1.5"-11.5 NPT extension columns.
Product Description
Angled or cathedral ceilings present a significant structural challenge for AV installations because standard ceiling plates designed for flat ceilings cannot compensate for the pitch of the ceiling surface. The ACC-CCPHD resolves this by providing +95 to -5 degrees of adjustment, allowing the mounting plate to be set level regardless of the ceiling angle. This makes it suitable for a wide range of architectural ceiling pitches encountered in commercial, hospitality, and institutional environments.
The adaptor is compatible with 1.5"-11.5 NPT (38mm) extension columns, specifically the EXT and AEC model lines from Peerless-AV. It can be mounted directly to wood studs or concrete, giving installers flexibility in working with different structural substrates without requiring additional blocking or custom hardware. A built-in security slot provides resistance against theft, which is relevant in public-access installations where projector theft is a concern.
